Job description

Compensation: Starting around $68,000 - $70,000

Are you an operational quarterback who thrives on logistics, scheduling, and driving team utilization?

Power Test is seeking a high-performing Field Service Operations Coordinator to anchor our global field service team. This is not a back-office administrative role. You will own our field service calendar end-to-end—managing scheduling, dispatching, and tracking across installs, commissioning, warranty, repairs, and on-site consulting.

As we expand globally, you will maximize technician utilization and treat first-time project completion as your personal KPI. If you understand the high cost of a wasted truck roll and love managing complex moving parts, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Do
Scheduling & Dispatch
  • Own the Master Schedule: Assign, sequence, and dispatch technicians globally for installs, commissioning, warranty, repairs, and on-site consulting.
  • Verify Site Readiness: Confirm customer sites are 100% ready (access, utilities, materials, and personnel) before dispatching to guarantee first-time completion.
  • Manage Real-Time Logistics: Handle schedule changes, technician availability, and last-minute conflicts instantly to minimize wasted trips.
  • Coordinate Global Travel: Manage domestic and international travel logistics, including flights, hotels, rental vehicles, and per diems.
  • Partner Management: Coordinate third-party service partners globally, tracking progress and holding them to the same high completion standards as internal teams.
Work Order Management & Revenue Closure
  • Maintain Open Work Orders: Keep all orders updated in our ERP/scheduling platform with clear completion targets and assigned techs.
  • Prevent Delays: Monitor order aging and elevate at-risk orders to the Field Service Manager before missing commitments.
  • Drive Revenue Closure: Accelerate prompt post-job work order closure by collecting required sign-offs and documentation from technicians and customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Parts, and Project Management to align on parts availability and customer timelines.
What You Bring
  • Industry Experience: Background in field service scheduling within capital equipment, construction, manufacturing, or CAPEX-intensive industries.
  • Tech-Savvy Mindset: Hands-on experience using platforms like Salesforce Field Service, ServiceMax, ServiceNow, or similar ERP scheduling tools.
  • Customer Facing Skills: Strong project coordination skills acting as a primary liaison between customers, sales, and service.
  • Project Management: Experience managing complex timelines and holding teams accountable (Project Management experience is a strong plus).
