Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a warehouse/distribution associate in Fort Lauderdale to support daily product fulfillment, shipping, and inventory management. You will prepare, ship, receive, and organize surgical equipment sets, while assisting with cycle counts and record keeping.

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution role.

Responsibilities

• Distribute products/services for representatives and customers.
• Prepare, ship, and receive products; manage loaner sets and inquiries.
• Check inventory records for product availability.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of supplies, tools, and storage areas.
• Inspect kits and process orders for products.
• Coordinate sourcing with internal resources for alternatives.
• Maintain account records and perform cycle counts.
• Set up warehouse for incoming/outgoing surgery equipment.
• Coordinate with distribution, sales, shipping, and warehouse teams to expedite deliveries.
• Schedule drivers/routes for shipments.
• Record stock usage and damage; track expirations.
• Inform customers about receipt, shipping, and delays; handle urgent requests.
• Cross-train to fulfill on-call rotation needs.

Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday, 8:00am- 4:30pm

Potential for overtime and mandatory on-call rotation

What you will do-

• While representing Stryker you will be responsible for the distribution of products/services for our representatives and customers
• Prepare, ship, and receive products; ensure timely delivery of sets and pick up/return loaner sets; field customer questions and direct to appropriate branch personnel
• Check inventory records to determine availability of requested products.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Responsible for kit inspectionsand process orders for products
• Work with internal resources for alternative product sourcing (e.g. loaner bank, other warehouses, consignments)
• Maintain account records, signing, reporting, and filing/scanning documents. Cycle count activities
• Set up and organize the warehouse for incoming and outgoing surgery equipment
• Confer with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace deliveries
• Coordinate drivers and routes for shipments
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment, inventory for expiration dates, etc.
• Inform customers of receipt, shipping, and delays; handling urgent requests and ensuring shipments are complete for delivery and processing returns
• Responsible for accurate inventory tracking and record keeping, warehouse inventory cycle counting and optimizing inventory utilization
• Cross-training with other positions within distribution to fulfill on-call rotation needs

What you need-

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience
• Valid Driver’s license with good driving record
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree
• Experience in a hospital, medical device, healthcare, or sterile processing environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, implants, surgical instruments, or healthcare operations.
• Experience with inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience supporting on-call, after-hours, or customer-facing operations.

$23.90 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits.
