Job summary

VIP Petcare is hiring a Field Operations Assistant to support field office operations, inventory, and clinic logistics. You will assist with administrative facilities, organize the warehouse, and help ensure rigs are stocked, safe, and ready for service.

The role requires comfort handling animals, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Expect a customer-service oriented team environment with flexible hours including some weekends.

Qualifications

  • Experience with pets of various sizes and temperaments; handling and lifting as needed.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; education/experience combination considered.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with management of field office operations, facilities, inventory and day-to-day processes.
  • Organize and maintain office and warehouse areas; oversee inventory receipt and accuracy.
  • Ensure inventory and rigs are stocked, prepared, and RCIV compliant; maintain documentation.
  • Support field operations managers and clinics; assist in training initiatives.
  • Participate in weeknight and weekend clinics and rig work; flexible schedule.

Field Operations Assistant - VIP Petcare

Pay Range:$18.56-$23.65hourly

Overall Job Summary

Provides convenient and affordable pet health and wellness products and veterinary services to pets and their families through retail and ecommerce channels across the country

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
  • Assist with the management of all field office operational processes to include administrative facilities, inventory, and overall day-to-day operations of the business
  • Assist with office and warehouse organization and maintenance
  • Oversees and provides receipting of inventory, materials and/or services; verifies quantity and accuracy based on orders and/or completion of services; ensures inventory control system information and records are maintained, and inventory is stored in or distributed to proper and safe location
  • Live our competencies and reinforce brand promise with our partners, pet parents, and team members
  • Maintain all documentation and reference material and supplies as necessary for effective office/clinic operations
  • Ensure rigs are “Rig Ready”. Stock with vaccines, prepare lot numbers, organize, clean and load the rigs utilizing the Rig Checklist
  • Communicate regularly with the Field Operations Manager and/or Assistant Field Operations Manager to ensure consistency in how operational P&P’s are being executed as it relates to clinic/center operations
  • Participate in training initiatives pertaining to field office locations
  • Support and participate in weeknight and weekend clinics as well as working on rigs
  • Work schedule per the needs of the business
  • Ensure van cleanliness and maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

Experience: Experience and comfort with pets of all sizes and temperaments, including handling and lifting animals as necessary is preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Working Conditions
  • Must be able to drive a company vehicle for long hours and in various terrain and weather conditions. Portion of workday spent in vehicle. (Mobile Vet Service - Community Clinics)
  • Must be able to work for prolonged periods of time in the field, including 12-14-hour days
  • Must be able to work weekends, varied weekdays and times, occasional overnights
