Job summary

RigUp, Inc. is seeking an Advisor to ensure operational procedures are accurate, practical, and aligned with field operations.

The role acts as a bridge between field SMEs and documentation teams, traveling to multiple locations to validate draft procedures and support finalization of high-quality documentation aligned with OIMS 6-1 standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with field SMEs, reviewing documents for structure and compliance, and ensuring procedures reflect actual practices

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, field work, or procedure development.
• Strong working knowledge of OIMS 6-1 or equivalent.
• Proven ability to collaborate with SMEs and writers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to translate operational input into clear guidance.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic field environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple field locations to support procedure validation and improvement.
• Review preliminary procedure documents for alignment with OIMS 6-1 standards.
• Partner with field SMEs to gather insights and refine procedural details.
• Assess procedure accuracy, completeness, and usability in real-world conditions.
• Facilitate discussions with field personnel to reflect actual practices and constraints.
• Collaborate with technical writers to incorporate field feedback and finalize procedures.
• Ensure finalized procedures are clear, actionable, and compliant with OIMS 6-1.
• Identify gaps or improvement opportunities within existing procedures.
