Job summary

International Contractors Inc. in Illinois seeks a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will work on-site and in the office, supporting the project manager from preconstruction through closeout, with travel to project sites across the US.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Construction Management and 1–3 years of experience with a construction management firm, and is ready to contribute to a growing, safety-conscious firm with robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management Required
• 1–3 years of experience with a Construction Management Firm
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the US
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Develop, drive and implement project goals with the project team.
• Assist and support the Project Manager in preparing and processing Owner and Vendor Contracts.
• Attend project meetings and prepare/minutes.
• Procure building permits and coordinate inspections.
• Maintain project files and submittal reviews and coordination.
• Manage punch list and closeout processes.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards.
