Responsibilities

• Perform paraprofessional case management activities under supervision of Child Welfare Specialists.
• Schedule doctor visits, family visitations, court appearances, and related appointments; arrange transportation for children and clients.
• Coordinate referrals to other program areas and courts; assist in problem resolution and home visits for foster care assessments.
• Interview clients and families and report findings affecting medical, financial, tribal affiliation, or psychiatric care plans to assigned CWS.
• Provide administrative support, input case documentation, compile social/economic data, and support meetings with clients and parents.
• Advise clients of available child welfare services and resources; refer to community programs as needed.
• Assist in coordinating activities with law enforcement, courts, and other entities; support in achieving individualized service plans.
