FlexStaff is seeking a Regional Field Nurse Supervisor to coach and evaluate nursing staff, deliver engaging training, and ensure safe, high-quality participant care in home-based settings.

The role combines field nursing with clinical education, requiring home visits, competency evaluations, and ongoing mentoring to meet organizational standards in a Bronx-based program with on-site and field duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing (required).
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of five (5+) years of home care training/education experience.
• Experience designing and delivering training for nursing staff.
• Two years doing participant home visits and field nursing mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and conduct orientation programs, in-services, continuing education, and competency assessments.
• Provide clinical education guidance on workflows, documentation, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate new hires and provide feedback on readiness for independent practice.
• Perform home visits to maintain clinical proficiency and model standards.
• Conduct ride-alongs to observe practice and coach in real time.
• Deliver instructor-led training using PowerPoint and hands-on methods.
• Identify gaps and communicate findings to leadership for process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize training materials and policies.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement activities and staffing recruitment as needed.
• Act as active IDT member and support organizational initiatives.
• Work within licensure scope and organizational policies; travel to participant homes as needed.
