Job summary

EnerStar Solutions is seeking a Field Network Technician to install and maintain Starlink satellite internet systems, plus LTE and wireless equipment across Montana and surrounding regions. This is a hands-on field role requiring climbing, outdoor work, and travel to remote worksites.

You will configure routers and networking gear, install cameras and remote monitoring tech, and document service activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight as required.

Responsibilities

• Install and support Starlink satellite internet systems.
• Deploy and troubleshoot LTE and wireless communication equipment.
• Configure routers, switches, access points, and networking hardware.
• Install and support remote monitoring and camera systems.
• Respond to service calls and field work orders.
• Set up and relocate communications equipment at customer locations.
• Assist with communications tower and signal booster installations.
• Perform equipment maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Work closely with operations, logistics, and field personnel.
• Complete service documentation, equipment reports, and inventory records.
• Support customers by resolving technical issues and ensuring reliable connectivity in remote locations.
