Job summary

VTG is seeking a Site Survey Engineer to support U.S. Army network infrastructure modernization, performing on-site surveys of Army installations nationwide to document network, telecommunications, voice, cabling, power, and infrastructure environments for modernization planning.

The role involves heavy travel, independent work at Army sites, direct communication with government personnel, and creation of detailed survey reports and documentation to support design packages and deployment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting communications, telecommunications, or installation modernization.
• Experience conducting site surveys or infrastructure assessments.
• Ability to read network diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys at Army installations nationwide.
• Document network rooms, cabling, power, and infrastructure.
• Develop survey reports and assessment packages.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders during surveys.
• Support engineering teams with findings and recommendations.
• Travel extensively across the United States.
