Job summary

Acuren is recruiting PLI Technicians to support our operation in Williston, ND. Working in the Pipeline Integrity Services group, you will perform field examinations, analyze inspection data, and prepare reports to support customers’ integrity programs.

Approximately 90% of the time is spent in the field, field office or traveling across the US; 10% at the home division location. Relocation to Williston is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Must have current Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2 and Ultrasonic Thickness Level 2.
• Certification in MT/PT/UT/PMI Level II required.

Responsibilities

• Field-based pipeline integrity examinations.
• Analyze and review inspection data and prepare reports.
• Relocate to Williston, ND and work independently in remote areas as needed.

Education

Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2

Ultrasonic Thickness Level 2

NACE Level CIP Level I / CP Level I

Current Level II certification in MT, PT, UT, PMI

Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)

Creom 3D Laser Scanning (Handyscan)

Tools

Creoform scanning systems

In-situ Material Verification (Frontics or MMT HSD Tester)

Automated Corrosion Scan Mapping
