Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Oncology (Melanoma and GI Tumors) to engage Thought Leaders and Healthcare Professionals in the field, translating data into clinical insights for patient care and safe use of BMS therapies.

The MSL will support pre- and peri-launch activities, collaborate across medical and cross-functional teams, and travel to sites to foster scientific exchange and site awareness.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in a scientific, clinical, or research environment.
• Strong oncology experience; GI familiarity preferred.
• Field medical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with academic and community Thought Leaders.
• Engage in proactive and reactive scientific dialogue to inform medical strategy.
• Deliver educational presentations and scientific updates (in-person and virtual).
• Collaborate with medical societies, PAGs, and guideline committees.
• Provide training and support for external speakers as needed.
• Support payer engagement during pre- and peri-launch phases.
• Address unsolicited medical inquiries and provide rapid, accurate responses.
