Job summary

Total Tire Solutions in partnership with True North Fleet Services seeks an OTR Mobile Tire Technician to deliver roadside and on-site tire service for commercial trucks and trailers.

You will perform repairs, mounting/dismounting, inspections, and emergency roadside support in yard and field environments, working independently while upholding safety and customer service standards. The role includes on-call rotation and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial tire service experience preferred.
• Experience with roadside assistance or mobile service operations is a plus.
• Ability to safely mount, dismount, repair, and replace commercial truck tires.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy truck tires and equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with commercial vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside service calls for commercial truck and trailer tire repairs and replacements.
• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and installations on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conduct tire inspections and identify wear patterns, damage, and safety concerns.
• Repair tires according to industry and company standards.
• Service customers in fleet yards, customer facilities, and roadside environments.
• Maintain accurate service records and work order documentation.
• Operate and maintain a mobile service truck, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations.
• Provide professional customer service while representing True North Fleet Services.
• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency roadside response as needed.
