Job summary

Shift5 is seeking a Mission Operations Specialist to lead on-site integration and deployment of Shift5 solutions at Fort Carson and customer sites worldwide. This field‑oriented role sits at the intersection of hardware deployment and systems sustainment, and requires hands‑on work with customer platforms.

You will install hardware, configure software, run verification tests, and travel up to 30% domestically and occasionally internationally.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, military technical training (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Experience with field installations, electronics, networking, IT systems, or related hands-on technologies (1–4 years).
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems; basic tool use and system testing.

Responsibilities

• Install Shift5 hardware, sensors, networking equipment, and cabling on military and commercial platforms.
• Configure, install, and update software applications, OS, and system images across hardware.
• Execute installation procedures, startup checklists, and verification tests to ensure readiness.
• Travel to field sites and lead on-site integration, upgrades, and preventative maintenance.
