Job summary

Selectemp is hiring a Field Millwright for our Lebanon, Oregon site. You will install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery to keep operations running smoothly. Work with the operations team to ensure reliable equipment performance and production continuity.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of millwright experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and hands-on expertise with machining tools such as engine lathes. On-site schedule is six days on with one day off, with day shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field millwright experience, preferably in wood products or lumber industries.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficient with machining tools such as engine lathes and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install machinery and equipment using layout plans and drawings.
• Disassemble, move, position, and assemble heavy machinery.
• Install components such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails with hand and power tools.
• Align, level, bolt, weld, and secure machinery for safe operation.
• Perform repairs, lubrication, preventive maintenance, and rigging.

Join a leading designer and builder of material handling systems as a Field Millwright in Lebanon, Oregon, and make an impact every day. As a Field Millwright, you'll install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery to keep operations running safely and efficiently. You'll work closely with the operations team to deliver reliable equipment performance that keeps production on track.

What You'll Do

• Installing machinery and equipment using layout plans, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Dismantling, moving, positioning, and assembling heavy industrial machinery
• Installing components such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails using hand and power tools
• Aligning, leveling, securing, and stabilizing machinery through bolting, welding, and fastening
• Performing repairs, lubrication, preventative maintenance, rigging, and equipment setup

What You'll Bring

• At least 3 years of millwright experience, preferably in wood products, lumber, or mill industries
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Proficiency with machining tools such as engine lathes
