Job Description

Our Field Merchandising Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the District Managers in their area of responsibility while overseeing a group of select stores. The role includes hiring, training, coaching, and developing staff in merchandising concepts, sales techniques, policies, and procedures. The position requires travel to various stores, assisting in hiring and training the team, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Reports to: District Manager

Responsibilities include:

  1. Driving sales, reducing shrink, measuring scanning accuracy, and achieving gross profit and labor goals.
  2. Supporting the District Managers in exceeding budgetary objectives.
  3. Assisting in hiring, training, and developing team members.
  4. Ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
  5. Market the company's services in the community and track special orders.
  6. Work at various locations to cover days off, sick days, and vacations.
  7. Maximize store performance through scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Two or four-year degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Retail and merchandising experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Leadership and management skills, including scheduling, payroll, and sales analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Own phone and computer required.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work long, flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between stores.
  • Physical ability to lift 20-50 pounds, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
