Job summary

UNFI is seeking a local Retail Merchandising Sales Representative to drive sales at assigned customer locations, including stocking shelves, executing resets, and supporting merchandising programs. This role requires reliable travel, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills.

The RMSR will act as the primary contact for customers, implement planograms, and collaborate with field teams to meet deadlines and budgets. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year related experience in Retail or Distribution.
• Prior Sales and customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Food related product experience desired.
• Bilingual – Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Influence customer orders by identifying sales opportunities and placing orders.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and merchandising projects.
• Rotate stock, remove out-of-code items, and process returns/credits.
• Communicate with UNFI personnel about competitor activity and sales opportunities.
• Collaborate to develop action plans and ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
• Travel extensively within the assigned area as needed.
• Complete required documentation on time and stay current on tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
