Job summary

Healthcare in Action is seeking a full-time Mental Health Clinician to serve unhoused patients through field-based care in West Hollywood and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and various interventions, with education and crisis support as needed.

Requires an MSW and LCSW licensure, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• MSW required for clinical work with unhoused populations.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required for independent practice.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred to serve diverse patients.
• 2-3 years of related mental health experience in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term mental health treatment including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Deliver individual, group, couples and/or family interventions and discharge planning.
• Educate patients with informational materials and support groups in community settings.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and professional relationships in the community.
