Job summary

Healthcare in Action seeks a licensed mental health professional to provide street-medicine aligned care for unhoused individuals in West Hollywood and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes assessment, treatment planning, and outreach to reduce stigma.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term mental health treatment including assessment, diagnosis, and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and facilitate educational and supportive groups in community settings.
• Provide preventive mental health services as needed.
• Deliver crisis management services as required for West Hollywood clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships in the community to reduce stigma and improve access to care.
• Represent Healthcare in Action professionally with clients and partners; ensure quality service.
