The Division of Family and Child Health (DFCH) oversees programs supporting physical and socio-emotional health, primary and reproductive health, and health equity for NYC families and children. The Office of School Health (OSH), a joint initiative with the Department of Education, promotes health among 1.3 million students across NYC schools.
School Physicians have served NYC students for over a century, providing clinical services, health education, and case management.
Applicants must bring original documentation for employment eligibility, education, and professional qualifications to interviews. Additional documents may be required for qualification verification.
Eligible for federal loan forgiveness programs.
Experience requirements vary by assignment level, with additional qualifications such as a Master’s in Public Health and specific experience levels for higher assignments.
