Job summary

Taylor Northeast is seeking a Field Technician to join our Baltimore team and service forklifts and other heavy equipment across the greater metro area. You will be the primary contact for customers and must work independently, bringing your own tools to every job.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, conducting PM checks, and documenting service activities. A valid driving record, hydraulic/diesel experience, and electrical aptitude are required, along with passing

We are seeking a Field Technician to join our Baltimore team and provide service to forklifts and other equipment throughout the greater metro area. You will be the point person for our most important customers (which is to say, all of them), so the ability to work, think, and operate independently is a must. You must also have your own tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect, diagnose, and service heavy lift equipment (diesel, electric, or LP fueled).
• Identify potential technical problems and determine required repairs.
• Maintain equipment service records.
• Conduct regular PM checks onsite at customer locations.
• Test mechanical equipment after repair or assembly to guarantee proper performance and compliance with manufacturers’ specifications.
• Have hydraulic experience.
• Have diesel experience.
• Have an aptitude for electrical systems.
• Be a safe driver with a clean driving record.
• Be able to pass preemployment physical exam, background check, and drug screen.
