Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials in Jefferson, GA is seeking a Field Mechanic to maintain and repair mobile heavy equipment and support plant maintenance.

You will perform routine maintenance, use diagnostic tools, and keep detailed maintenance logs, reporting major issues to senior staff. A strong foundation in diesel/gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of technical school training or equivalent hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Experience repairing diesel and gas engines.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical repair.
