Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking an experienced Mechanic for Asphalt Equipment - HMAC in Dallas, TX to join our heavy highway team. The ideal candidate will perform repairs and maintenance with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will conduct daily inspections, adapt to project schedules (days, nights, weekends), and use your own tools. Asphalt and concrete paving equipment experience is preferred; all applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of diesel engines.
• Knowledge of transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety and safe work practices.
• Experience with asphalt and concrete paving equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owning your own tools it Required.
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
