Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking an experienced Mechanic for Asphalt Equipment in Dallas, TX. This is a great opportunity for a heavy equipment Field Mechanic with at least 3 years of service and repair experience.

You will own and operate your tools and perform routine inspections while adhering to safety policies. Expect flexible hours including days, nights, and weekends, and the ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Owning your own tools is required.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures.
• Other duties as assigned.
