Job summary

Wilson Construction Co. in Alice, TX is seeking an experienced Field Mechanic to repair a wide range of utility equipment and trucks. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic, diesel, electrical, brake, and aerial components to keep multiple job sites running.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of heavy mechanic experience, is willing to travel, works safely, and brings basic fabrication skills. OT and some weekend work are required; CDL is a plus.

Electrical utility construction company seeking experienced Field Mechanic for repair of various utility equipment and trucks. This position will be responsible for a large variety of repairs to support various job sites.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years heavy mechanic experience in related field.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry the same for short distances and up and down stairs and steep inclines. Ability to sit in awkward positions for long periods, stand on a variety of surfaces and at differing angles, bend over, crouch, and climb up and over various equipment.
