Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record at all times.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers.
  • Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems.
  • Complete and submit field service documentation promptly.

The Field Mechanic will be responsible for billing, inventory, paperwork, and field service. We are a leader in the oil and gas industry providing our customers with equipment that monitors existing systems on oil and gas drilling rigs.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of DistributionNOW products.
  • Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems.
  • Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on proper operation.
  • Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.
  • Billing, inventory, and paperwork.
  • Complete and submit field service documentation promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Oilfield, Oil and Gas, Utility, Energy, or similar industry experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • Travel over 50% of the time and willingness to work weekends.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record at all times.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware.
  • Willingness to be on call.
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic background preferred; electrical background preferred.
