Job summary

SPL is seeking a Measurement Technician in Williston, ND to ensure accurate liquid measurement for custody transfer and production operations. This field-based role involves working with LACT units, various flowmeters (Coriolis, turbine, PD, ultrasonic), and prover equipment while maintaining safety and equipment reliability.

You will calibrate, test, and maintain meters, document results, and support data collection through EFM and SCADA systems, with some travel to customer sites and a focus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Hands-on experience with LACT units, meter proving equipment, and liquid measurement systems (Coriolis, turbine, PD, ultrasonic).
• Familiarity with EFM computers, PLCs, or SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Prove, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot various flowmeters on LACT units and liquid measurement systems.
• Operate and maintain prover equipment and use master meters for proving and verification.
• Install, inspect, test, and perform preventive maintenance on meters and instrumentation.
• Diagnose measurement issues and perform adjustments or minor repairs.
• Support data collection via EFM/SCADA systems and ensure accurate documentation.
