Job summary

SPL in Williston, ND is hiring a Liquid Measurement Technician to support field operations involving ball and piston provers, LACT units, and various meters. The role focuses on accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance while gaining hands-on experience with measurement systems and data acquisition technologies.

You will operate, troubleshoot, and calibrate meters, collect samples, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on liquid measurement experience required or strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with LACT units, flow meters, and proving systems is desirable.
• Know-how of SCADA/PLCs/EFM flow computers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain liquid measurement equipment and proving systems.
• Perform calibration and verification of meters to ensure accuracy.
• Troubleshoot measurement systems and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Document field tickets, reports, and equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate with field teams and customers to ensure safe operations.
