Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Field Material Handler to support material movement, tool-room duties, and daily logistics on active job sites. This role ensures materials, tools, and consumables are organized, available, and properly distributed to trades personnel.

You will receive and check in materials, monitor consumables, supervise timekeeping, and assist with inventory control while reporting to multiple job sites as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience (construction preferred) or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be able to operate forklift and lull
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record to operate company or leased vehicle
• Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
• Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned

Responsibilities

• Receive and check in material at the jobsite.
• Monitor consumables at the jobsite (nuts, bolts, washers, hangers, duct sealer, screws), alert foreman/superintendent of upcoming shortages
• Monitor and assist with daily employee timekeeping activities, including overseeing and verifying that assigned personnel properly clock in and out
• Arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for the assigned crews and remain approximately 30 minutes after the scheduled end of the workday to assist with jobsite material, tool, and logistical needs
• Assist moving material to ACI trades personnel on the job site
• Responsible for inventory control
• Assist with various tool room duties
• ToolWatch software administration
• One Key software administration
• Performs other job related duties as assigned
