Job summary

Atlas in Port Angeles is seeking a Construction Materials Tester - CMT Field Technician 1 to deliver accurate testing for heavy civil infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include writing test reports, sampling, and testing materials, as well as assisting with construction inspections. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and navigate uneven construction sites.
• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule to coincide with contractor activities.

Responsibilities

• Accurately write and submit test reports daily.
• Assist with inspection of heavy civil construction.
• Perform a variety of job site tests, record test data, and interpret test results.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of materials testing and construction practices

Education

Ability to obtain WAQTC and ACI Certification
