Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Construction Materials Tester - CMT Field Technician 1 in Mount Vernon, Washington. The role involves delivering accurate materials testing and documentation for heavy civil infrastructure projects. Candidates will thrive in a team-focused environment, providing daily test reports and assistance with construction inspections.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $24 to $32, alongside robust health, wellness, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate uneven construction sites.
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule to coincide with contractor activities.

Responsibilities

• Accurately write and submit test reports daily.
• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.
• Perform a variety of job site tests, record test data, and interpret test results.
• Sample and test Cement Concrete and other surfacing materials.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of materials testing and construction practices

Ability to obtain WAQTC and ACI Certification

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
