Job summary

Qualifications

• Background in construction or field work.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates in the field and in the lab.
• Perform concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, cylinder casting) and soil compaction/moisture testing.
• Label, handle, and deliver material samples to the lab.
• Document results and site conditions in daily reports.
• Visit Reno construction projects and communicate with contractors/engineers.
• Follow safety procedures and testing standards on every job.
