Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Construction Material Tester to support California transportation projects. You will perform lab testing of asphalt concrete, portland cement concrete, and related materials, ensuring test results meet standards and specifications.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, 3 years of material testing experience, a valid CA driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs and travel within the state.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 3+ years of material testing experience
• Ability to operate independently or with others
• Valid California driver's license and willingness to travel within CA
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• 3+ years of experience inspecting, sampling and testing materials for state transportation projects
• ACI certification or equivalent
• Nuclear Gauge Operator Training certification

Responsibilities

• Perform lab testing for asphalt concrete, Portland cement concrete and related materials.
• Witness material source sampling and testing at quarries and stockpiles.
