Job summary

InterCon Construction in Wisconsin seeks a dependable Materials Receiving/Delivery Associate to efficiently process shipments, manage inventory, and support field operations. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure accuracy of documentation while keeping safety at the forefront.

This full-time on-site role requires a CDL, a high school diploma, travel as needed, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• CDL class A/B/C required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in materials receiving/delivery.
• Valid driver’s license; travel required.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Basic knowledge of material handling procedures.
• Knowledge of gas and electric materials preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts/telehandlers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Basic math and reading/writing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions.

Qualifications & Required Knowledge/Skills

• Possession of a Class A, B, or C CDL is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working in a materials receiving/delivery role required.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license; travel is required.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for service.
• Basic knowledge of material handling procedures and techniques.
• Basic knowledge of gas and electric materials preferred.
• Ability to operate various material handling equipment (forklift, telehandler, etc.).
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc.).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; ability to read/write and interpret documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to be self‑motivated to perform all required tasks of a material handling professional.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical motions of bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting.
