About the Role
What You’ll Achieve
- Full lifecycle event strategy and execution for Ent's East field calendar, from major industry moments to intimate CISO dinners, executive roundtables and briefings in New York, Boston, DC, Toronto and beyond.
- Ownership of ABM programs targeting Global 2000 accounts in the East, with a focus on financial services and the public sector and defense community.
- Partner co-marketing with our integration and channel ecosystem (EDR, SIEM, identity and collaboration platforms) to create joint programs that reach shared buyers.
- A category-defining presence at every event we attend.
- Hands-on execution across the full stack of event work.
- You're on-site solving problems in real time (and anticipating most of them before they happen). You'll partner with design, operations, sales and product marketing so decisions consistently align with company goals.
- Outcome orientation. Every program ties back to a clear goal (pipeline, ARR, deal velocity, brand reputation), and you can speak fluently to how your work drove revenue, not just attendance or lead counts.
- Budget ownership. You'll manage the East field marketing budget and are expected to be creative and resourceful with it.
- Sales partnership. You'll build strong relationships with East enterprise and federal sales leadership and reps, and be their go-to partner for accelerating key accounts.
- Reporting and iteration. Clear, honest measurement of what worked, what didn't and what you'd change next time, shared with marketing and sales leadership.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of field or event marketing experience, with meaningful time in a startup environment where you operated with limited resources and support.
- Security industry experience. You understand the security leader as a buyer, the endpoint, data protection, insider risk and AI governance landscape, and what does (and doesn't) land with this audience. Experience marketing to financial services or public sector and defense audiences is a strong plus.
- A track record of trying things and taking risks, and the ability to explain why a given approach worked or didn't.
- AI fluency. Ent helps enterprises safely adopt AI tools, and we use them ourselves. We're looking for someone with real experience using Claude (or similar) to increase output without sacrificing quality.
- A backup plan for your backup plan. When something goes wrong on-site (and it will), you solve it calmly and quickly.
- A builder's mindset. You'd rather design your own approach than follow a standard playbook that only produces standard results.
- Comfort presenting to executive and sales leadership, with clear opinions backed by data and reasoning.
- Based in the Eastern US or Canada, with the ability to travel 30–40%, including periodic trips to our San Francisco headquarters.
