Job summary

Power Production Management is looking for a passionate Marketing Intern to represent our brand in the Gainesville community. You will engage in grassroots outreach and capture authentic stories behind our solar projects, building relationships and spreading awareness of solar energy.

This internship offers hands-on experience in a growing company, mentorship from the founder, and a chance to work on real marketing projects. Ideal candidates are outgoing, self-motivated, and eager to learn about sustainable energy.

Qualifications

You care about sustainability, clean energy, and making a tangible difference.
Comfortable walking up to strangers, starting conversations, and representing a brand.
Give you a task and a direction, and you'll make it happen.
You don't need to be an expert in solar energy but genuinely want to learn.
Decent photos and short videos on a smartphone; editing skills are a plus.
Events and site visits happen on a schedule; we need someone reliable.

Responsibilities

Represent PPM Solar at local events and community gatherings.
Visit active solar installation sites to capture progress and interviews.
Create short-form video and photo content featuring real customers and projects.
Distribute marketing materials throughout the Gainesville area.
Develop and refine your elevator pitch about solar energy.
Support grassroots marketing campaigns to build community awareness.
Gather market intelligence by observing competitors and customer feedback.
Collaborate with the Marketing Director on content strategy and execution.
