Position Timing:July 30, 2025 – December 24, 2025

OVERVIEW:

BOOM Ventures is an independent, brand engagement agency working within the sports, entertainment, retail, and lifestyle marketing industries. Our services include experience design, special event production (B2B, B2C / IRL & Virtual), sports & entertainment consulting, IP development, research & data, retail marketing, digital & innovation, content production and hospitality.

The Field Market Manager’s responsibility will be to support the at-store and field event activations for a best-in-class retailer between the months of July through December 2025. The position requires an entrepreneurial spirit, strong attention to detail, a positive outlook, and experience working with brand ambassadors/field staff. This position will work remotely.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Work in partnership with selected third-party staffing agencies to assist in management and oversight of event staff (Brand Ambassadors) for all training, pre-activation work, on-site activation, community events, and reporting.
  • Be an integral member of the BOOM account and production teams actively participating in overall account strategy, planning, ways of working, process, and in-field operations.
  • Role includes setting-up 10x10 tent footprint in the field and booths in-store; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with store personnel, local event managers, and internal HQ teams. Have weekly status check ins with program production manager(s).
  • Manage weekly logistics and inventory management of program assets at local warehouse.
  • Coordinate event logistics with shipping company for larger item deliveries.
  • Track and validate all expenses with receipts and work with BOOM account team to project future expenses.
  • Produce post event recaps in a timely manner.
  • Active participation in both internal and client calls when necessary (weekly/monthly).
  • Available to work holidays such as Labor Day and Halloween.
  • Availability on weekends when necessary.
  • Personal vehicle needed to assist in transport of small items to stores and field events.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent people skills with an ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members; calming disposition for customer interaction.
  • Prior experience working w/ field teams and Brand Ambassadors is important.
  • Retail experience is not a mandate but preferred.
  • Must be well-organized, have a strong work ethic, and ability to problem solve.
  • Possess creativity to offer ideas on improving the customer experience.
  • Ability to work independently in market.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Docs/Sheets
  • Organization and attention to detail are critical.

ADDITIONAL SPECIFICS:

  • Total of about 9-10 weeks over July 30 - December 24, 2025
  • Typical Schedule:Onsite work: 2-3 days per week / Administrative Work: 1-2 days per week
  • Compensation:Competitive with industry (to be discussed)
  • All program-related expenses are reimbursed.
