Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co is hiring a Field Manager – Landscape Maintenance in Raleigh, NC to lead field crews on maintenance and snow removal contracts. You will manage labor and materials, develop your team, and work with area managers to meet branch goals.

You will monitor budgets, schedule production, maintain client relationships, and ensure safety and quality in daily work. The company emphasizes training, competitive pay, and a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Experience managing others in a field/contract environment.
• Experience in contract maintenance work.
• Ability to identify and diagnose insect and disease problems and schedule treatment.
• Knowledge of vehicles and equipment used in landscaping maintenance and snow removal.
• Willingness to learn company systems for hours, time entry, equipment maintenance, and service reports.
• Strong communication skills and ability to ask good questions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on assigned contracts.
• Develop a clear understanding of hourly and cost budgets and monitor progress.
• Maintain good client relationships and communicate updates.
• Monitor quality of work and report issues to customers.
• Sell extras through field tickets and manage equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with Area Manager, crew members, and customers to complete jobs.
