Job summary

Clean Water Action is seeking a team of motivated individuals for community-outreach and management roles in Northampton, MA. This is a full-time, in-person position with hours Monday through Friday, including shift changes for summer and school-year schedules.

Field Manager candidates start as canvassers at $18+/hr and may fast-track to higher pay scales (Trainer $18.25+/hr, Field Manager $21.10+/hr) based on skill and experience, with a 4–5 day per week commitment for 4+ months.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and leadership abilities are essential.
• Commitment to environmental issues, politics, or social justice is highly desired.
• Ability to motivate and manage teams, and to work in a fast-paced campaign setting.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop new activists and motivate teams of 5+ people.
• Manage team logistics and allocate resources for canvass campaigns.
• Analyze canvass performance and budget metrics, and report results.
• Set and meet ambitious goals while leading by example.
