Job summary

PalAmerican Security seeks a seasoned security supervisor to oversee officer performance, training, and site coverage across its portfolio. You will evaluate officer performance, devise training regimens, and enforce licensing requirements, while maintaining high morale and client satisfaction.

This exempt, salaried role requires strong leadership, scheduling mastery, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years related experience required.
• Security License if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Act as a cultural ambassador to PalAmerican officer employees and clients.
• Manage and maintain all employee schedules and ensure proper coverage at all site locations to include standing post.
• Ensure uniforms are distributed and worn correctly.
• Ensure payroll and time and attendance systems are up to date and accurate.
• Provide employee training on a variety of topics, which include site specific training, system training and compliance trainings.
• Conduct site visits to ensure employee compliance with company policies.
• Address employee concerns and assist in the resolution process.
• Prepare reports for leadership team on security activity.
• Be available for immediate response to the facility in case of emergencies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Must be 21yrs or older. Have min of 1 year of supervisor experience, in the security field - highly suggested. Holds a level 2 Security License through TOPS.

Position Summary

Oversees the evaluation process as it relates to the security officers and supervisors within the portfolio and provides motivational and disciplinary actions for all staff assigned within the portfolio. Visits security officers on sites regularly and deals with any issues arising. Devises training regimens and site orders for each site and ensures that all officers are properly trained and licensed prior to working by themselves. Liaises with staff regularly to provide support and sustain high morale. This is an exempt, salaried position that always requires support for staff and clients.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Detailed Duties/Responsibilities
