Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is seeking a Field Manager to lead high-volume landscape construction on multiple sites. You will manage crews, coordinate material deliveries, and maintain strong customer relations while ensuring safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has proven landscape construction leadership, blueprint interpretation ability, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Travel to out-of-town projects may be required as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commercial landscape construction crews.
• Knowledge of interpreting blueprints and specs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Degree in Landscape Construction Management, Business Management, and CLT; OSHA 30 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all aspects of high-volume landscape construction projects.
• Travel as required for site work.
• Hire, train, and supervise on-site crew members.
• Pre-qualify material deliveries on-site to ensure timeliness.
• Build positive relationships with on-site customers and stakeholders.
• Manage safety records and enforce safety regulations.
• Track labor utilization and identify manpower needs for completion.
• Oversee job site quality control and productivity.
• Lead weekly tailgate safety meetings and safety initiatives.
• Lead on-the-job training for field employees.

Responsibilities

• Planning and executing all aspects of high-volume Landscape Construction
• Travel is required at times
• Hire, train, and manage personnel assigned to the crew
• Pre-qualify material deliveries on site
• Build positive relationships with onsite customers
• Managing safety records and enforcing safety regulations
• Tracking labor and identifying manpower for work completion
• Oversee job site quality control and productivity
• Conduct weekly tailgate safety meetings
• Lead the on-the-job training efforts for field employees
