Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to lead the effective, efficient, and timely delivery of our services. Technicians are based at their home address and access their daily route through a company provided iPad and iPhone; they receive a company van and tools.

We offer on the job training and professional education programs. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs on buildings, equipment and grounds, and performing multiple trades such as carpentry,

Qualifications

• Two to five years mechanical experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry.
• Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read instructions, write routine reports, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs per work orders.
• Performs plumbing maintenance such as unclogging drains and repairing leaks.
• Performs routine painting, carpentry work to maintain facilities.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance within state law requirements.
• Completes service and asset inspections; uses tablet/smartphone for orders and reports.
