Job summary

Ring Power Corporation in Florida is seeking a Field Maintenance Trainee to support preventive maintenance and equipment testing under mentorship. You will learn to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer specifications while adhering to safety, contamination control, and documentation standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work evenings/nights as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED completed.
• Able to understand written material and communicate orally and in writing.
• A valid driver’s license with a clear motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Prior experience working autonomously in a related technical role.
• Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and dealer software programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance: fluids, filters, SOS samples, lubrication, start equipment to test performance with mentor.
• Maintain a minimum set of tools to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer specs.
• Attend and complete Field Maintenance Trainee program tasks and trainings.
• Learn to supply information, supporting docs and photos for repairs identified during preventive maintenance visits.
• Work neat and orderly, follow contamination control guidelines, seek ways to improve methods, area and safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections per guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of technical changes; schedule may include nights and weekends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
