Job summary

Casey’s is seeking a Field HVAC Maintenance Technician to service a designated set of Casey’s & CEFCO stores in Abilene, TX and surrounding areas. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, and fuel systems, traveling 20–40% with a company vehicle and tools provided.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of tools and equipment used in building and mechanical trades.
Experience with installing and repairing electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration equipment and parts.
HVAC certification preferred.
EPA Type 1 and 2 or Universal Certification required or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire date.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal and written instruction.
Travel with overnight stays required 20% to 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

As a Field HVAC Maintenance Technician, you'll work in a designated set of Casey's & CEFCO stores completing service and maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical and fuel systems, and general building maintenance. Territory includes 12-15 stores in Abilene, TX and surrounding areas. If you don't currently live in the area mentioned, relocation assistance may be provided.
What You'll Do

Compensation
Starting hiring range: $25.50 - $33.50. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the typical hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
Requirements
