Job Title: Field Maintenance Technician
Location: Duval, Clay, or St Johns Co area (FL)
Job Summary
The Field Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing repairs and maintenance at assigned stores and identifying further recommended actions.
Principal Duties:
- Perform store repairs, installation, replacement, and maintenance tasks as assigned, including carpentry, minor plumbing, painting, drywall, tiling, light bulbs, countertops, and cabinets. Complete repairs within specified timeframes based on priority. Additional duties in Florida may include fuel pump nozzle and hose replacements.
- Visit assigned stores regularly to maintain equipment, including beverage equipment and HVAC/refrigeration systems. Plan efficient routes.
- Prepare stores for remodels, openings, and projects, supporting public relations during openings.
- Maintain asset tagging system, including audits and setup in new or remodeled stores.
- Complete necessary paperwork and electronic communications promptly, including invoicing and payroll documentation.
- Report to the Lead Technician when standards are not met by service providers. Perform other duties as requested.
Essential Functions:
- Work effectively individually and in a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance required.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to lift up to 72 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs frequently, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and perform repetitive physical actions.
- Extensive travel required, including evenings and weekends.
- Complete Technician 20 skills test and obtain necessary certifications.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a General Craftsman.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Reside in Duval, Clay, or St. Johns County.
