Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Maintenance Service Professional to provide on-site repair and preventive maintenance for commercial equipment in stores and facilities within a reasonable radius of your home. Equipment includes shakers, carts, dock plates, ladders and light carpentry.

You will drive a company vehicle, document work with our tech platform, and ensure safety and compliance while traveling between stores.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 certification required; refrigerant removal duties.
• Must be 18+ years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Associate degree or equivalent preferred? (no formal education required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Experience using tablets, smartphones and laptops for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Document work and parts using the company technology platform; manage tech stock and expensing.
• Perform safety-compliant maintenance and minor repairs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and light electrical and carpentry tasks; travel between stores, possibly overnight.
