Job summary

Force Building Services is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician I to install, repair, and maintain equipment for commercial clients in Indianapolis. You’ll work autonomously on-site, troubleshoot problems, and ensure safety compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

3+ years maintenance experience (1 year property maintenance preferred).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be local to Indianapolis and able to report to job sites.
Will travel up to 80% with frequent overnight stays.

Responsibilities

Perform installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on commercial equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
Ensure safety and quality standards on every job site (OSHA compliance).
Communicate timelines, progress, and solutions to clients and leadership.
Read project scopes and estimate materials and schedules.
Collaborate with subcontractors and team members to keep projects on track.
Represent Force Building Services on-site with professionalism.
