Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to support multiple franchise locations across Southeast Ohio and West Virginia. The role emphasizes safe, clean, and efficient facilities with a focus on preventative maintenance and timely repairs.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, organized, mechanically inclined, and able to respond to emergency maintenance. A company van, tools, and equipment are provided, with occasional after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, refrigeration, restaurant equipment, or related trades.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Willingness to learn Dairy Queen equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment and facilities.
• Complete monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual preventive maintenance assignments.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain organized records of completed work and submit reports on time.
• Work with Store Leaders to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
