We are looking for a new team member dedicated to meeting the unique needs of our customers and getting the job done.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for performing quality routine preventive maintenance service work on power systems, switchgear, and uninterrupted power source (UPS) systems to satisfy customer needs. The technician will complete all necessary forms and documentation associated with Iron Pro accurately and promptly. Experience is highly desired, and a good driving record is required. The goal is 100% uptime through planned maintenance, ensuring optimum efficiency and 24/7 reliability. The technician will perform exemplary maintenance on generators to ensure costs exceed customer standards, use Holt Cat’s digital tools to report issues, and work with Holt’s central dispatch team for logistics while communicating directly with customers to confirm job requirements, location, and timeline.

Essential Functions:
  • Promote HOLT’s Values Based Leadership to ensure alignment with company vision and mission
  • Perform high-quality preventive maintenance and electronic inspections on generators, ATS, and engines
  • Maintain and communicate a field service schedule to ensure excellent customer experience
  • Strive for high performance and quality with an abundance mindset
  • Adapt to schedule and timeline changes effectively
  • Accurately submit daily fluid samples and maintain service truck appearance and operation
  • Maintain Work Order efficiency of 5% or higher
  • Attend work punctually and adhere to safety policies and company standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Self-motivated with high energy, able to work independently or in a team
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with computer software and hardware
  • Some knowledge of generators, ATS, engines, and related equipment
  • Ability to read service manuals and lubrication charts
  • Basic understanding of tools, equipment, and preventive maintenance procedures
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Up to one year of experience in preventive maintenance of generators, ATS, engines, or related equipment
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Travel:
  • Up to 20% overnight travel
