HOLT CAT is seeking an entry-level technician to perform preventative maintenance and field service on equipment in Georgetown, TX. You will report to the MAC department and coordinate with dispatch to confirm job requirements, location, and timeline.
A CDL Class B within 6 months is required, and travel up to 20% overnight may be necessary. Strong customer service, basic computer and manuals literacy, and the ability to work under supervision are essential as you develop skills in this field.
Perform exemplary maintenance services on equipment to ensure owning and operating costs exceed customer standards. Use Holt Cat's digital tools to capture and report issues as it pertains to the operation and performance of the equipment to maximize up time. Lastly, the incumbent must successfully work with Holt's central dispatch team for logistics and communicate directly with customers to confirm job requirements, location, and timeline.
This is an entry level position which generally has less than one year of experience and/or demonstrated job relevant knowledge/skills. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job; works under immediate supervision.
Will provide superior customer service to internal and external customers in alignment with Holt CAT's Vision, Values and Mission statement.
