Job summary

Laundry-4U in Houston is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Technician to support multiple locations, perform hands-on maintenance, and assist with new site builds. This field-based role requires practical, multi-trade capability and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

You will handle repairs, installs, and routine checks on equipment, plumbing, HVAC, and flooring, with safety and quality as priorities.

Qualifications

• Some experience in general maintenance, construction, or a related trade is preferred.
• Comfortable using a wide range of tools and taking on unfamiliar tasks as needed.
• Able to work independently and prioritize responsibilities across multiple locations.
• Reliable transportation to travel between Houston-area locations.
• Able to perform physical labor and lift to 75 lbs. throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Support the buildout and setup of new laundromat locations, including running cables, framing, installing and demolishing drywall, building custom fixtures such as desks and shelving units, and installing flooring.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs at existing locations to keep stores clean, safe, and fully operational.
• Handle restroom repairs including plumbing fixtures, toilets, sinks, and drains.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on commercial washers and dryers and escalate issues requiring specialized service.
• Perform basic HVAC checks such as filter changes, ventilation inspections, and flag anything that requires a licensed technician.
• Paint, patch, and handle general cosmetic upkeep across all locations.
• Respond to maintenance needs as they arise and manage time across multiple sites.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by management.
